English is not the easiest language sometimes. We all know about 'bough, though, cough', for example. But it tends to be the language of business (fortunately for us) and although we absolutely admire the langauge skills of international marketers everywhere (that's why it's fortunate for us, you should hear our German), it is really easy to make mistakes - mistakes that can really detract from your message.
